Fort Fortifite

 

Fort Fortifite, one of the “Three Quarters”, descended like a massive starship to block the pass. It really was made of actual Fortifite—blue crystal fortifite, gleaming gold fortifite, shimmering marble fortifite. The invaders threw all sorts of stuff at it, but it kept re-constituting itself in beaming lights. Then its walls swung out and sections shifted, revealing weapons! After the enemy ran, the fortress healed it’s cracks and dents, then hummed loudly, and ascended beyond the clouds, probably needed elswhere.
