Dei Drops

Dei drops, dei draughts, dei dins and so forth—they’re all variations of what small-minded mortals can percieve of portions of the unknowable (at least to them).

They represent the strands that yearn to redarn the universe back to its once achieved wholeness. Sometimes they are strands of physical properties in the universe such as strength or speed. Sometimes they are strands of courage, fear, honor or hope threading through the universe, tying beings or even worlds together. Though they are a part of everything, only some can ‘see’ them and even less can interact with them in way that approaches something like the ‘tangible’.

They are eternal, though their states may change. As the universe evolves, those in the know hope to see the strands re-darning, undoing the fraying and dissolution caused by the Great Rebound.
